Finally, after 2 years of intensive work Monte Christo's long awaited debut is now released. After having met in 2003, Denise Eppler and Björn Neumann decided to focus on instrumental music only. You'll know why, when you give it a listen. This masterpiece tells a story about a journey, somewhere between fiction and reality. The concept of this work is not centred around one specific theme because each station like "Sehnsucht" and "Traum" but also "Kindheit" and "Innere Unruhe" provides the listener with an individual approach of interpretation and exploration. A clear statement about the song "Evolution" is printed in the booklet of the CD.
The two main elements violin and piano invite to follow the path of "Traumreise". Both classical elements are combined with a variety of electronic beats and soundscapes resulting in a soundtrack-like experience that carries the listener along impressive musical imagery. Monte Christo combines musical styles like Dark Wave, Electro or Neofolk but does not lack an own individual style. Nobody should miss the chance to get overwhelmed by the live performance that will create an outstanding atmosphere, too. Listening to it will make you understand.
